I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful spring weather, even if we have had a bit of rain. This Saturday will be the first round of Holy Communion ceremonies at various churches in the area, and I was going to share some recent Communion portraits - but my heart belongs to the babies!!! I promise Communion portraits will be my next post, but first let me share some newborn cutness. Here are three recent new arrivals......
As of April 17, all sittings for this event have been filled. With enough interest, there is the possibility of adding a second day, so keep inquiring.

This event is open to all families with children on the autistic spectrum. There is no sitting fee and no obligation to purchase prints. Each family will be given a 30 minute block of time during the day to come to the park and have their child's portrait taken. Siblings can be included, but only if it's manageable - the focus of shoot must be on the child with ASD.
You MUST call for an appointment, and a scheduled time will be arranged that works best for your child. Unfortunately, for the safety of the children and to make the event successful, we cannot accommodate families that have not contacted us before the event.
The best photos from that day will be posted in a password protected online gallery, and each family will receive a coupon for a free 8x10 of their favorite portrait. Additional portraits can be purchase at reduced prices for this special event.
My goal is to alleviate all the pressure that families usually feel when they attempt to have their child photographed. Now they will have nothing to lose and only a fantastic portrait to gain. I hope you join me on this special day. Pass the word!!

It's so nice to know that for some families, having their special occasions documented at my studio is like a family tradition. Now that I am in my seventh year, I have so many siblings coming in for their birth announcements, communion portraits or first birthdays, it's truly an honor. Recently, I had a first birthday session with the second of the O'Hagan girls.

One of my most favorite shots ever!! And here is little Miss Lauren, who recently turned one this month.
Now the goal is to take a similar shot that could hang side by side with the other, but not be identical - which is always my intent with siblings. Here are some more favorites from the session.
