The minute Mom described Jack's first birthday outfit, I knew just the type of portrait I wanted to create. Active little Jack had other ideas, however! Even so, we still got quite a few beautiful shots.
After the formal portraits, we moved on to the cake smash. Jack LOVED this part of the shoot, and I don't remember another baby who ate as much of the cake.
Here he is near the beginning. He didn't hesitate at all diving into the cake.
Now towards the end. After enjoying a strawberry a bit too much for Mom to handle, we knew it was time to pull him away.
I'm glad I grabbed a few shots while Jack was still clean. He happily posed with his favorite muppet, Cookie Monster.
