I'm always amazed at how fast a year can fly when a newborn returns for their first birthday portrait. Though I did get a visit from Serena at Christmas time to do her holiday cards, it feels like yesterday I was trying to get her to sleep in a basket. She was an alert, bright little baby, clearly advanced for her age, and I'm happy to report that is something about her that hasn't changed at all. It was a joy photographing her, as always.

Happy Birthday little doll!
Oh my, these are all just fabulous. I can't pick a favorite if I tried! She's beautiful as are your images of her.

Oh, Maryann, you the most delightful setups and scenes. Isn't she just the cutest? Lovely work.

So much fun to see the difference from newborn to this age.
Gorgeous portraits all around.

Absolutely beautiful!! Your sets are as gorgeous as your images, MaryAnn - I know that so much thought and preparation goes into your portrait sessions, and it really shows. What an adorable little girl!

What a beauty! You did a lovely job capturing both her newness and her "one-ness."
